Help with commercial license

Hi,

I recently purchased PI after using the trial version. I followed the directions that were emailed to me.
I downloaded the commercial version. As per instructions for the Windows 7 platform I uninstalled the trial version. I installed the commercial version but when I opened the program I was NOT asked to enter a user identifier and an activation code. I believe I am still on the PI server using the trial version because if I disconnect from the internet, I am unable to launch Pixinsight. Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?

Appreciate suggestions...

Hi Tom,

You are installing and running a trial version of PixInsight. Please do the following:

- Double check that you are using the user name and password of your *commercial* license, not the ones of your trial license, when you log in the software distribution interface.

- Download the latest version of PixInsight. The file name of the installation package should carry the -c suffix (for commercial).

- Uninstall the PixInsight Core application (trial version).

- Reboot you machine (this seems to be necessary on many Windows installations).

- Install the PixInsight Core application (commercial version).

- Run PixInsight and activate your license.

Thanks Juan..it worked....had I read all of the commercial purchase email I would have done it correctly the first time.
