Bi-colour synthesis in PixelMath
« on: 2015 January 03 03:54:29 »
I am trying to create a pseudo LRGB image from Ha and OIII masters. In pixel math I identify my Ha to R/K channel and my OIII to G and B channels. I have both images open in the workspace. When I hit apply I get an error message stating that the OIII file can't be found which is rather baffling as it is open on the screen. Can anyone advise what I am doing wrong? Any suggestons will be very much appreciated.
Regards
Gordon

The names in the Pixelmath boxes need to correspond with the image names i.e. the one in the image tab (not necessarily the same as the file names). In your case the HA is actually called HA_integration. I suspect the OIII should be OIII_integration.

Hope that helps

Chris

Chris, thanks for your reply. I have it working now with the file name as you suggest. I think I had also misidentified one of the images in the formula!!!
Thanks again
