Error in image solver script v01.08.03.1123 MacOSX 10.9.5

Image Solver script quits/crashes with the error shown in the attached screen shot.

probably you need to adjust your star detection thresholds? 3 stars detected is too few.

but the script should probably announce that rather than throwing that error, yes.

I am getting the same error. I tried solving an image with previews. Fail. Cloned the image and the solve was successful.

This is an excerpt from the Process Console:
StarAlignment: Processing view: M34_RGB
M34_RGB: Restricting star matching to 3 preview(s).

imagesolver probably should not be run on an image with previews... so your workaround is correct. i don't think this is the same error as the OP.

Rob is right. Since ImageSolver uses StarAligment internally, when the image has previews the initial step of the algorithm is done on the first preview and usually this makes the script to fail.
