No semi-transparent window while dragging in 1.8.3?
« on: 2014 November 01 09:08:41 »
Just upgraded to 1.8.3.  Immediate, I found that I cannot drag an image window, such as star mask, over the original image to show the starmask image as a transparent overlay.   Is there a new switch that I need to turn on?

Thanks!

Hi PJA!
You can select  under:
EDIT
 Global Preferences

Special GUI Effect
Translucent workspace child Windows  (click it)

Press the Global Apply blue ball   and -

Than it does what you want.

Gerald:

Thanks a lot for the hint.  I have never need to set up that before, so I never knew!  :)

Unrelated thing: I really like your pixelmath tutorial!  Good stuff!  Thanks a lot for that as well!
