Try reinstalling. Also check if your antivirus is messing with the installation, blocking some files.

I have reinstalled for 3 times but it did not work.
Ohhh sorry forgot to mentioned...this problem occurred only on my 2nd PC.
I copied the pixinsight-license from my 1st PC to this 2nd one (C:\Users\<user-name>)
The 1st PC is okay...BPP is there.
Please help...

Try Start/Programs/PixInsight Platform/Reset Pixinsight Settings.

- reset from program menu as Georg said --> didn't work
- holding ctrl + pixinsight core icon --> didn't work

Here the stories:
- Installed the trial version (before I purchase commercial license) on the 2nd PC and played with PI about 2 days --> BPP show up
- Then, purchased commercial license and installed PI on the 1st PC --> BPP show up
- Uninstalled trial version on 2nd PC, then installed the commercial version --> BPP don't show up

1st PC --> is my personal laptop
2nd PC --> is my office PC, internet connection must be through a firewall (Juniper) & Sophos antivirus

Is the script file in the appropiate folder? Is it tagged by the AV in any way?

@carlos
Can you be more specific?
I don't have the authority to disable the AV

Mmmm...is this means that you guys in the developer team have to update the package installation file? :)

Some antivirus applications report false virus detections and remove or quarantine the files involved, sometimes without notifying it to the user. See for example:

http://pixinsight.com/forum/index.php?topic=7548.0

Please understand that these wrong virus detections are completely out of our control. If this is happening to you, you can either use a different antivirus application, or try to convince your antivirus that this file is clean, or use a different machine and/or operating system.

@juan
BPP was show up when the first time I install the trial copy even without running an update.
Is that indicated that the commercial installation package is out of date compare to trial one?

Most probably the antivirus blocked the script in a later execution of the platform, and it cannot be accessed by the core. Please check that the script files are in the PixInsight/src/scripts/BatchPreprocessing/ folder. If a file is missing, you may copy it from your another computer. Check that you antivirus has not quarantined any file in there.

BTW, this problem has nothing to do with any difference between the trial an commercial releases. Also, it is not related with the update process.

I guess that a few users would have reported such a problem. Several thousands of them, actually, given the relevance of the BatchPreprocessing script.

@carlos & all
I have copied & replaced all of the files & folders from my another computer, but still it didn't work.
I found one file has quarantined by the AV --> PixInsight\bin\7z.exe

Well never mind, it seem that I have to pre-process my frames manually (modules).
One silly question, when I used the BPP, I got BINNING master frames.
What is binning means? Any binning module?

Please help...
