planetary image processing
« on: 2014 September 13 10:00:07 »
Hi! this a question from a PI newbe.

I have found quite a bit of tutorials on the net for deep sky image processing with PI.
However planetary image processing tutorials are hard to find.

Can anyone direct me to any tutorials that are more tailormade for planetary image processing.  I am  mostly intersted in
image sharpening aspect (ATrouwavelets, deconvolution and other presseses) for RGB planetery images.

cheers

Hi!

I've done a small tutorial about moon processing.
Unfortunately only a small part speaks about deconvolution, but it can be a starting point.

you can find it here

Well,
after extensive research, I was able to find a very good tutorial for planetary imaging in PI....in Spanish.
For those of you who can get by in this language I highly recommend this tutorial from Juan Conejero (raw images from Christopher Go)
