How do I see a list of open images?
« on: 2008 July 16 12:37:42 »
Hi,

I'm used to having my open files listed under the 'windows' menu. PI doesn't have this functionality. How do I get a list of open files and process windows so I can switch to it? The other day I had maybe 8 images open and the only thing I could do was tile them so I could see them all at the same time. There must be a better way but I don't see it, sorry.

Thanks,

   Sander

There is (or used to be - haven't used PI in quite a long time now) a box near the lower left corner showing the name of the currently active view. When clicked, it expands to show all available views, and you can click on any of them to make it the active one.

Hi David,

well that box is still there, never noticed it :) This is one of those examples where it pays of not to be fancy and simply follow standard UI design. There really should be a list of open windows under the 'window' menu. You know I had to say it Juan :)
