Unable to Compute Noise Estimate

During integration, I was working on different settings of the Winsorized Sigma. When I realized an image I had was not up to par, I removed it from the integration. At that point I started getting the subject error not on the first image but on all subsequent images (I had 35). It didn't matter if I removed images 2 thorugh 10 or even the first, I always got this error message.
When I reinserted the bad image back into the script, the script ran fine. Thinking it may be a registration issue I re-registered all but the bad image. I then ran the Image Integration script again to get the exact same deal.
Bad image which is apparently need is in Dropbox:

Edit to add link to three year old issue (not sure if identical):

More than a 99% of the pixels in this image have zero value (pure black). Somewhere in the process you've applied this image has been severely clipped; only the bright stars have survived. The ImageIntegration process requires a minimum of a 1% of noise pixels to regard a noise estimate as reliable. Similar limits exist in the Debayer and ImageCalibration processes.

I haven't clipped it. That's how it came out of the registration process. The original RAW looks fine. Nonetheless, I didn't want it processed. But the ImageIntegration would not work without that image. I kept getting the error when I removed it (even when I re-registered the other images using a different reference image).

yes but it is calibrated, which means there's a problem with your calibration frames - it got clipped during calibration. check your darks and dark masters.

I can understand to an extent it happened in the calibration phase though not sure why it wouldn't have affected my other images. What I don't understand is why I have to include that image in the image integration phase? I have 34 others; I'm okay with that. It's much easier and quicker for me to ignore the bad image and do the II with the other 34 as opposed to starting all over.

You don't have to include it. Just don't load that image into ImageIntegration , or better yet, just delete it from your images folder.
Best,
Jim

I don't want it; I leave it out but I get the above error whenever I don't include it; even when I registered all but that image...

i guess the other frames may be compromised as well… the lack of the message when not including this frame could be a red herring.
can you post one of the remaining images? most likely they have similar characteristics but it's worth looking.
