NGC2264
« on: 2014 July 27 14:18:18 »
Hello,
this is my last attempt.
http://andrealucchetti.smugmug.com/Astrophotography/Portfolio/i-cq3Psc9/0/X3/IM_2-X3.jpg

the web image is more "loaded" that what I see in my PC.
The Image was acquired from Tuscany during winter/spring 2014.
It is an experiment to understand what can be done mixing 1x1 Ha data and 2x2 RGB data.

Fully processed in Pixinsight.

Hi Andrea,

wow there's a lot of detail in your image! Well done! What are the exposure details?

Best

Thank you Lex!
Ha: 15x1200s
RGB: 12*600s each channel
Due to a robofocus issue, FWHM is a bit higher for the Ha.

May be this helped the Ha blend with the RGB :-)

I had several issues in eliminating the gradients and doing the blend.

Best,
Andrea
