Hi, I've really been struggling to get my images integrated and calibrated today. Not sure if there's a bug or a bug in my brain....

I'm finding that when calibrating using the batch tool (it's great normally!), suddenly all my calibrated files show up as monochrome or even black/red (stars showing as red).

Is there anything obscure I'm doing wrong? I"m not using any bias files, as I thought they were causing issues.

Thanks in anticipation.

Simon

And I should say that the integrated , star aligned files marked _r , appear fine.

Hi Simon,
maybe a stupid question, but have you tried to debayer the calibrated images? Before registration they will be debayered automatically by the bbp-script. Ok, this will not explain, way the stars are red, but maybe your monitor is not calibrated right. ???

No, the monitor is fine, as I can see colours in all the other images. If it helps, I'm processing the Canon RAW files in PI, is this ok?

Hi Simon,
suddenly all my calibrated files show up as monochrome or even black/red (stars showing as red).
Are you using previouly calibrated Masters? Any way, try integrating all again following all these steps (Also using Bias!). 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8
Finally inspect your _c_d lights. They should be ok.

Saludos, Alejandro.

Thanks Alejandro, that CFA option might be the trick. I'll try later.

right - CFA = "color filter array" AKA "bayer matrix" which is what one-shot color (OSC) cameras like DSLRs use :) alphabet soup!

that checkbox really should say something about DSLRs... this question comes up from time to time.
