OS:  MS Windows 7 SP1
PixInsight: v01.08.02.1098

I bought a 4K display to make PixInsight easier to use.  Since this made text for all of Windows almost too small to read, I increased the text scaling to 125% (Right Click Desktop, select "Screen Resolution", select "Make text and other items larger or smaller", select "Medium - 125%", click "Apply").

PixInsight loves all of the screen real estate I now have, but when I open one of the process tools and hover over a label to get the help hint, not all of the hint displays.  I guess the text scaled, but the box that encloses it did not.  Anyway, here is a screen capture to show an example:

Most of the hints on most of the tools that I've tried have been cut off similar to this.  Occasionally, a hint is short enough that it fits in the box, but not often.  Anyway, I hope this is an easy fix because I _really_ like PixInsight at 3840 x 2160 pixels!

Let me know if you need any more information or have any questions.

Thanks - Shane

Hi Shane,

The current versions of PixInsight don't support high-dpi screens properly. We need to refactor our graphical user interface in order to support them, which includes a complete rewrite of some critical parts of our code. The whole task is not trivial by any means.

This is becoming a high priority quickly as 4K monitors become standard. We plan on carrying out this work during next Fall-Winter. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the reply, Juan.  It's only an issue because I'm rather new to PI and still need a lot of hints... The screen real-estate of the 4k display makes it very much worth it--I have enough room to see some of the tutorials while I try stuff out now.  So far, that is the only thing I've found that didn't work.  Do you want me to keep a list if I find others, or are you guys already on top of it?
