Stripe on Nikon D610 RAW
« on: 2014 June 06 08:43:44 »
RAW images from my Nikon D610 display a 'stripe' on the right-hand side. The 'stripe' manifests itself in PI from images created both by the camera and BackyardNIKON software. The stripe is not present when I view the images in Photoshop CS6.

I've attached a screen capture. I can provide the RAW file if needed.

this is due to the difference between adobe camera raw's decoding of the file and DCRAW's decoding of the file.

it's probably okay... ACR is probably just cropping off that extra region.

Thanks. I looked at them 'really hard' and the 'stripe' isn't really part of the image as would be seen in Photoshop.
