LinearFit and Channel Weights
« on: 2014 May 22 08:49:41 »
Hi Forum,

After LinearFit to the RED and GREEN Channel (Reference was the BLUE Channel), there are following numbers in the process console:

LinearFit: Processing view: rgb_orig_crop_G
Sampling interval: ]0.000000,0.920000[
Fitting images: done
Linear fit functions:
y0 = +0.000043 + 0.961696·x0
?0 = +0.000201
N0 = 100.00% (15446262)
Applying linear fit: done
15.19 s

LinearFit: Processing view: rgb_orig_crop_R
Sampling interval: ]0.000000,0.920000[
Fitting images: done
Linear fit functions:
y0 = +0.000113 + 0.894313·x0
?0 = +0.000207
N0 = 100.00% (15446262)

Is it possible, to calculate, see, ... the ChannelWeights for the Green and Blue Channel?

What is the significance of the numbers y0, ?0, N0 ?

Thank you and best regards.

Herbert, Austria

if i understand it right the expression y0 is what was applied to the image, that is for the G channel it was multiplied by 0.96 and then an offset of 0.0000043 was added.

Hi Rob

thank you for your reply - now I have a first info to understand the linear fit numbers.

Best regards.
