I want to create a star mask for my narrowband images which contain LOTS of stars. I found several tutorials here and followed them. But I can never create a star mask that contains all the little stars. I uploaded one of my images here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/71789253/SII_cropped_DBE.fit

Any ideas or pointers are welcome!

Thanks

mark - it's mainly the low noise threshold and the stretch that's applied to the image before computing the mask (the sliders at the bottom).
