I took fabulous NB images of Eta Carina last week and they look great but I have way too many pin point stars in my image. I would like to know if there is a way to remove these small stars from my image. I have tinkered with morphological process and used the erode setting but I'm still getting artifacts and it is also messing with the sharpness of the rest of the image. Any suggestions??
