No waste of time at all to me. I was learning how to do it, too. Glad it worked for you. The letters were hard to see in the video, and I think the author of the video confused things by setting the shorter wavelength 658 to R and the longer 660 to B. By convention, it should be the other way around. Then they had to correct by reversing them in the PixelMath.

Thank you for your patients and support.  8)
Now that the mystery of colours is solved, it's time to make the hard job.

Using the Hubble source in my opinion is a way to practice with this powerful program (P.I.) and an efficient way to avoid loosing time because of this very bad weather.

I will post the result, not sure when.., on www.giuseppepassera.com.
