I would like to be able to delete selected samples. I noticed in one of Harry's videos that he used the delete key. That doesn't work for me. The little red X at the bottom of the DBE dialog deletes all the samples. Is there a way to delete just the selected sample?

It should work. First you have to select the sample, at that point sample changes the color, and then just hit delete button.

A single sample was selected. The "Delete" key is not working. Only the red X's work.

I also find that my samples usually look like X's, rather than boxes or boxes with X's superimposed. I am wondering what governs the appearance of the samples.

hi - this is an OSX thing. "delete" generates the ascii "backspace" code on the mac, as far as i can tell. PI is expecting the actual "delete" ascii code. try function-delete; that should work.
