I have a SBIG STF-8300 camera. I am very new to PixInsight and my problem is that when I try to load any files it appears that the SBIG file format is not supported. Can anyone help me with this problem? Many thanks, Terry.

are you talking about SBIG's 'native' format?
you should use FITS if at all possible. it should be possible to save your subs as FITS from whatever program you are using.
SBIG's file format is not widely supported…

In your capture software, go to the settings and then select FITS file as output format.
