HDRComposition tool question
« on: 2014 March 03 07:30:13 »
I read the previous post on the HDRComp tool and watched video tutorial and decided to give it a try.  I took 30 4 min subs that were c,d,r and tried to run with 10 minute subsx4.   I loaded all into HDRComp and got an error rating inconsistent HDR composition detected (bad linear fit, channel 0)??? Im pretty sure that I am totally at fault here but Im not sure how to use the script

I don't understand this sentence. What do "c,d,r" and "subsx4" mean?

In any case, you have to calibrate, register and integrate separately the 4 minute and 10 minute images. The registration must be done using the same reference image. If there are strong gradients you should remove them before HDRComposition.

Sorry I calibrated, registered the 4 minute and 10 minute subs with the same reference frame then tried to take all the registered images (30+) into HDR.  I didn't realize I needed to integrate the 4 min and 10 min subs separately then do HDR.  Thanks
