Call for Images: PixInsight Home Page
« on: 2014 February 24 10:58:02 »
With our new PixInsight.com home page we want to make something special. We would like to include a large amount of images from PixInsight users in our home page's slideshow. So we need your collaboration.

If you want to contribute with your images, we appreciate your help. These are the rules:

- The images must be processed with PixInsight. Ideally, they should be entirely processed in PixInsight, including the whole preprocessing and postprocessing. However, if you have used other applications, please let us know what exactly you did with them.

- Send us the images at high resolution. We prefer the native sensor resolution if possible, or the largest size that you consider appropriate for each image.

- Your images will be properly credited. Include a title with the object's name, the copyright that you want us to include (typically, your name and the year you made the image), and a link to the image on your website if you have one.

- Send us as many images as you want (no limit).

- We don't promise that your images will be included. We'll have to carry out a selection.

- We promise that your images will never be used for any purposes other than the slideshow at our home page without your explicit consent..

Our website has in excess of 1100 unique visitors per day on average, so we at least can guarantee you some visibility.

Thank you so much for your support.

Hi,

Thank you! You can upload them to dropbox or a similar cloud storage service. Or you can request an Endor account if you wish.

Hi Juan

Please have a look at these images, if you want any I will send you a full on image.

All have been processed in PI, however with the HSP images I have used PS CS6 to tweak the colours.
