New Masked Stretch Tool
« on: 2014 February 06 22:46:26 »
I am just looking for feedback here. This is an LRGB of M45. I used Masked Stretch default settings on both the luminance and RGB and then combined them. I am very happy with the small stars but was curious to see what people think about the larger ones. Some of my friends said they look too blue. Not sure if I agree but would happy to hear what other people think.

Thanks

Albert

Agreed, too blue. The main stars look flat. I found that Masked Stretch AND some traditional stretching worked well for my M45: http://i.imgur.com/wLE3lC1.jpg
