Newbie question on batch integration of calibration files

On page 5 Image Integration you mention the use of a reference image??? I am missing something here now.

My ImageIntegration tool has no such thing.

the first image in the list of files in ImageIntegration is the reference image.


this is the image that all others are compared with (statistically) and image weighting and normalization are relative to this frame. the reference frame weight is 1.0 and the other frames will have some fraction or multiple of that weight.

Or if you don't like that particular reference image for some reason, you can click on another one and then hit the "set reference" button on the right of the panel.  This will move the selected image to the top of the list.

Glad you found the cribsheet helpful and sorry for the glitch on the reference frame.  In order to keep it from being 100+ pages I have taken some shorthand cuts.  Btw, if you want the latest version, just drop me an email and I will send version19 which is more complete and has my latest learnings (cause we are all in this together brother).  That Rev19 also has the added benefit of being in word (can't put a word version here) so you can tailor it to your heart's content to your own workflow and your continued learnings.

Whole point is to help out and it is meant to be used and shared without attribution.

I have to apologize.  It never dawned on me that I was not getting upgrades to MaximDL because they require you to buy a yearly subscription.  That sucks, but it does explain why I have not seen any upgrades for over a year since, after checking my files, I now see it was just over a year ago that my subscription expired.  That was a real DUH moment for me 

Thanks for helping my addled brain get to the answer finally.  Not sure if it will address the problem I have where MaximDL sometimes adds the 32768 to BZERO and sometimes doesn't (I cannot begin to guess why that happens, but I am doing a clean install and buying the subscription upgrade just to test).  In the meantime, I will still be switching over to SGPro because there I have no issues.

OK, so I do the "right" thing, go to MaximDL and pay their extortionist subscription fee to access the latest updates and guess what. . . .THEY ARE STILL AT @#$#@%ING VERSION 5.24!!!  It didn't matter that my original one year subscription expired in March 2013 because there have been NO UPDATES since.  So I paid that ridiculous fee for absolutely NOTHING!!

I don't who I hate more at the moment, MaximDL or myself for being such an easy dupe.

Of the three images of my grandson that are my avatar, I am most definitely the one on the right at the moment.

I had assumed that a new version was the reason.  Say what you will about Microsoft, but at least they still support Windows7 even after over hyping Windows8.  With friends like MaximDL, who need enemies.  Got a "service" response to my problem, after paying for the pleasure, of "click this setting", as if that wasn't the first thing I tried month's ago.  They can keep version 6.  I am sticking with SGPro from here on out.
