Hello list friends, I'll start back up on production of Part-2 streaming tutorials tomorrow 1-27. Apologies for the delay since Thanksgiving when we managed to kick out three of them in rapid succession! The good news is that several are already written and approved for production.
Get your hankies out as the violin plays- down with a bad motherboard for 2 weeks, Christmas, away for a week in Philadelphia working my wife's jewelry business at the largest wholesale show of American handmade products, where I picked up the flu and 102 fever for another week, remodeled my office to allow me to work standing up- too many long hours in the chair (for those who've not experienced this, I wish it were a joke but it's not).
We continue to get hammered on our hill in West Virginia with snow, snow, and more snow, but PixInsight Part-2 for a hungry world continues!
Topics to be covered are CurvesTransformation for color enhancement, ColorSaturation for selective boosting, ColorManagement and profiling, Resample, Save As, SampleFormatConversion. Before we move on to Part-3, we'll do corrections/omissions/updates, and an overall workflow review; again bringing the 'Context and Chronology- the what to do and when to do it' to the mix. When Part-2 wraps, it will be made available via DVD as is Part-1.
Stick with us for Part-3 as well. To be covered will be the changes to 1.8.1, advanced wavelet techniques, GradientHDRComposition, Mosaics w/ StarAlignment and GradientMergeMosaic, CometAlignment, advanced PixelMath, advanced Masks, and of course Narrowband and Narrowband + LRGB.
