Canon Banding ????

Hey all,
    Here i am with my trial again.

Having issues using the Canon Banding Reduction tool.

It does'nt seem to be removing my vertical banding at any setting but instead adds horizontal
banding and random green or red single pixel horizontal lines when trying it with 'Protect From
Highlights' enabled. Cant find documentation on the script either.

Im attaching a link to the fit's file im trying to do the job on in the form of a dropbox link, if anyones
willing to have a go then the red channel has really bad banding whereas the green & blue hardly
anything. Firstly, this may not even be Canon banding but just an assumption by me so that would
be interesting to know. secondly, if the scipt is'nt the right thing for the job then what is  ??

Images were aquired with a Canon EOS 1000D with the i/r filter removed & nothing to replace it.
All lights, flats, darks & bias's in the image were processed & stacked in Pixinsight.

Be gentle, im very new to Pixinsight, laymens terms would be helpful if i should be using a different
'process' to deal with this issue.

pretty simple; the script works on horizontal banding. rotate your image 90 degrees.

you might simply extract the channels, work on red only, and then recombine if the other channels do not need banding reduction.
