Current build?

Hello, I was having problems with Cosmetic Correction, when I saw the thread about build 1054.
My current build is 1.08.00.1023, and hasn't updated since I started using a new machine (Win 8).
I have tried "check for updates", but get the message that "their are no current updates for your
installation".  What is the current build, and how can I get it?  Thanks for help!     Matt
