Alternative Operating Systems

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if PixInsight will run on a Ubuntu flavour of Linux called Linux Mint in 64 bit format? Thanks.  :)

Hi Graham,

PixInsight 1.8.0 should run nicely on Mint x86_64. Let us know if you encounter any issues and we'll fix them.

Thank you Juan. I am playing with the operating system on the disk for the moment and trying to understand the dual monitor setup with dual video cards that I have for Win7, as I stretch PI across two monitors so I have room for tools and images(LOL! Overkill! :D :D) and once I figure that out I will install it. If I get any problems, I'll sing out.  8) 8)
