How to remove glare rings?
« on: 2013 October 29 20:05:01 »
The attached capture shows my image of M31 that has a large ring or arc in the upper left corner caused by a bright star. Is there a tool in PI that can help get rid of this, or should I just take the image into Photoshop?

Interesting:  I had the same problem http://pixinsight.com/forum/index.php?topic=4075.msg28237#msg28237 .  If you are patient you can clone it out, but that really means manufacturing data, so it's not the best approach.
