Green image

Hello all,

I'm trying to use PixInsight instaed of DSS,
I have a canon t3i.
When I use batch script, the result is very very green.

What did I miss.

did you check "CFA" in the script? it's possible that the frames were not debayered.

otherwise, sometimes images have a green cast, it does happen sometimes with OSC/DSLR.

A green cast in DSLR images is common. It derives from the fact that, in your sensor, every 4 pixels 2 are green. Therefore, the color balance will always be biased toward green. DSS does a black/white points calibration at the end of the stack, so that's why you don't see the green cast.
Just go on with your image. I'm sure you'll be fine.

When you use the STF tool to temporarily stretch the image so you can see it, make sure you unlink the RGB channels. That will temporarily get rid of the "green"... it will go permanently when you do DBE or  ABE followed by background neutralisation and colour calibration.
