Hi Harry!
i am using the batchprocessing
BatchFormatConversion.
My .CR2`s converted to .FITS are also very very dark because of the conversion from 12 Bit to 32Bit.
This nrings the peak of the histogramm far to the left!

But using a   STF "A"  gets the data visible.

Hi Harry,

This smells like a bug that we fixed some time ago. Which version of the BatchFormatConversion script are you using?

??? You should have version 1.3.0. I released it in April.

In case you don't receive it, the update package is here:

Hmm, maybe not. That would explain it.

Try removing your updates.xri file (in C:\Program Files\PixInsight). This wil force the application to download all available updates for version 1.8.

Maybe it would be useful to have a website that lists the version numbers of the latest core release and module releases. We have seen issues with old versions repeatedly in this forum, even from fairly active participants....

If the application can not be upgraded to a new version using the update system, the user should at least receive a notification of the new version using the update server.
