HDRMultiscaleTransform with Median transform ?
« on: 2013 June 22 16:28:08 »
Hi, I'm using HDRMultiscaleTransform with Median transform on a Luminance image, 4 Layers, all else defaults. If I DBE the image linear, then HDR has almost no effect. If I DBE the image after I stretch it, then HDR works as I'd expect.

Does anyone know why? Ever seen this behavior before?

Thanks,
Steve

I'm not clear from your question if you are applying HDRMultiscaleTransform at the linear stage for both examples. It is my understanding the DBE should be applied linear and HDR after stretching.

Sorry, I'm applying HDRMultiscaleTransform with Median transform on stretched data for both files.
