I have to say i am very happy that I can now manipulate color... thanks to pfile.... but I think I have gone overboard..... >:D ..... too much red in these stars. 

When I look at the initial greyscales they seem similar and stars are about the same sizes.  I wonder if it is the colorcalibration. 

Any ideas appreciated.

I found the problem.  I restarted from scratch and in the LRGBCombo window I checked the Chrominance Noise Reduction.....  I can reproduce the problem.  Tutorials said check it....
