RC7 - OSX DBE weirdness
« on: 2013 April 30 11:08:50 »
overall RC7 has been very stable on OSX, no crashes in a full day of use. very happy.

i did however come across two weird problems with DBE. i have an image with really bad gradients, so i was repeatedly adding points and tweaking the DBE parameters. twice while closing the background model and the DBE'd image, somehow all of my points in DBE got completely cleared out, like the DBE process was reset.

also at some point in these many tries, the DBE process stopped responding to the Delete key on the keyboard. i'm not sure how to reproduce either of these, but after doing maybe 5 or 6 DBEs on the same image, adding and deleting points each time, it may show up.

Hi Rob,

I cannot reproduce this problem on any platform. Please let me know if you find a repeatable sequence.

i think the keyboard thing may just be a Qt problem. quite frequently and across many versions of PI, the apple-R/G/B/0 keyboard shortcuts to view the different channels stops working. seems like a similar problem.
