"Unable to Download Repository Information"?

Hi,

I have just downloaded and installed 1.8 Ripley RC5 on to my laptop, operating  Windows 7 and am getting the subject error message. When I look at the 'show details' I get the following: "https://pixinsight.com/update/: Network error: schannel: failed to setup extended errors".

I wondered if the update server is currently offline or if others are having a similar problem?

Any help would be appreciated  :)

Thank you. I did look to see if the issue had been previously raised, but obviously, I did not  look well enough!  :-[
