1.8RC5: Hitting Undo Twice Quickly results in lock error

Hitting the Undo Button twice quickly (after a lengthy processing sequence) results in "The Image is locked for write operation", see screenshot. So far I have seen this only on my Windows System, not on the rather slow Linux Virtual Machine I am using.

I have seen message on my W7 with RC5.

This is actually not a bug, but just a side-effect of the way PI 1.8 handles history navigation. The error message only happens if you are too 'impatient' undoing processes requiring heavy swap file access. It is harmless; everything will work correctly once you click the Ok button.

I'll try to avoid this message in the final 1.8.0 release, thanks for reporting.

May be go through the error messages and see if there is a way to state to the user what he/she is expected to do?
Like 'View is locked - wait a few seconds and type OK, or retry operation. If problem persists please report a bug"'

It is not easy, but the error messages should be 'correct' from the point of view of a user (that knows nothing about locking images) rather than just from the point of view of the developer - when possible

You're joking, right? And where would be the legendary "steep learning curve" of PixInsight then? 

It's much simpler: this error message should not happen. It won't be shown in the final PI 1.8 release (extra clicks during a history update will be ignored).
