Error normalice.dll

Hello,
Today I decided to upgrade my version of Pix, and the surprise was that after installing the new version I get the error message normalice.dll

I read something on the internet, the file is available for download, I tried to copy it to the Windows system32 folder and now comes another error,
"Not Found The procedure entry point kernel32. idn toascii in the dynamic link library normaliz.dll"

Have any idea what the problem is?

Until yesterday everything ok with the older version.

I doubt if the new version can be used in winXP, in email sent to launch new version says install on W Vista, 7 and 8,

My system is XP 32 bit.

Any idea how I can install the new version?

Apparently the machine error and not of Pix, but that worked properly and not now?

Then I'll have to stay with the old version.

Hi David,

Please note that "normaliz.dll" is not part of PixInsight. This file is not distributed, executed or loaded directly by PixInsight in any way. If you look for the name of this file on Google, you'll find many entries that will probably help you to fix this problem.

Besides that problem, the 32-bit version of PixInsight 1.8.0 RC5 should run on Windows XP (although the update system requires some manual intervention to work). As Georg has pointed out however, neither Windows XP nor 32-bit versions of PixInsight are supported officially.

Hola Juan, disculpa que te responda en mi idioma, y disculpa el retraso en mi respuesta tambien.

Entiendo entonces que debo poder iniciar PI 1.8 entonces.
Probé dos PC diferentes y ambos me daban el mismo error,
voy a probar de nuevo entonces a ver si encuentro solucion.
