Hi,
I wanted to share with you this first result putting together a 3x1 mosaic of Carina's treasures. I am very happy with it and thankful to PI developers for such a powerful processing platform, and Georg for contributing the much valued GMM module.

Great example how DSLR can compete even with cooled cameras when it is used by skilled hands, conratulations!!

I agree with you in that DSLRs can be very effective, if used adequately. But bear in mind that in this image, a canon 1000D was used in a peltier cooler, with its sensor operating at around -5° thru the session.
