Very strange !!!
As Laurent who is the author of the script (even if my name is written also on the authors names), didn't get this error (but I got it) he cannot reproduce it.
So I deleted all PI swap and install directories (I tried many things before !!!) and it has finaly worked.
I also do another thing : I reinstalled the RC4 and got the same error !!! So it cannot come from the script as it worked fine on the RC4.
So I ununstalled and deleted all. I installed again RC5. tested without the update (wordek) than do the update, relaunch and this worked).
Let me know...
Like you I was very "bad" when I saw that !!! Hopefuly I am on OSX at home and it works fine.
