can someone help i have a osc ATIK cam and i wouod eally like to try narrowband shots is it a bad idea since using a osc to do this please help.

You can do it. However, you will lose some resolution. For example, the pixels under the red Bayer matrix filters will be the only ones to record anything from your H alpha filter. So you'll be using only a quarter of the pixels of your sensor when you take an Ha shot, a quarter for an SII shot and a half for an OIII shot. Still, I've seen some good stuff from patient people using narrowband with a OSC camera.
