CanonBandingReduction
« on: 2013 January 31 13:01:33 »
Hi George!,

CBR v0.9.0 in 1.8 don't work the "with STF" option. The image is always showed without STF.

I also noticed that the 1/SigmaFactor's value change if you save a New Instance of the script. Example, if 1/sigmaFactor is 5, is stored sigma: 0,2 and when Apply global to restore the script 1/Sigma Factor is 0,2. The result when applying the process is the same in both cases. I don't remmember if it was the same before.

Saludos. Alejandro.

The observation is correct. I am working on a fix.

I fixed the script. The fix needs PI 1.8RC4  because of the problem reported in http://pixinsight.com/forum/index.php?topic=5180.0. Once 1.8RC4 is released, I will test it and make the new version available.

Georg

   0.9.1: Bugfix release:
         - Preview would not show in 1.8RC1 (ImageWindow() constructor now needs correct number of channels)
         - STFs would accumulate. Related to Image.Assign() bug in 1.8RC3
         - Preview did not STF images with 1 channel only (was always there - Canon RAWs always have 3 channels)
         - Saved sigma value was not correctly set in slider when Instance was recreated (was always there)

Yep. A last-minute problem forced me to rebuild all RC4 packages, so I could replace your script with the latest version. Thank you for your nice work!
