1.8 RC3 Projects

Hi Juan,

Something seems to be wrong when load a project. Besides the process icons that are not present in 1.8 like InterChannel, none of them were opened!.

The project was generated in 1.7 - Linux 64

Hi,

I have still some issues with projects.

This time I have tried to open last project completly done in 1.8 RC3 and something is wrong.
See screen shot.
The only thing that I have done in between is to load and old preference icon that was saved in 1.7 http://www.4shared.com/file/7IF4YVel/PreferencesLinux.html and which add a second directory for swap files.
I try reseting PI with Control button but is the same.

It is strange that other projects can be opened totaly or partially as the posted before.

I doing something wrong?

Maybe problem is in using another workspace resolution, than saved in previous project (1920x1080 vs. 1600x900).

After changing workspace resolution (switch to another display) all project files loaded successfully.

Hi Tomas,

This is very strange; screen resolution should not make any difference. Does this happen on regular basis, or is it just with this project?

Anyway, the final 1.8.0 version is much more robust on everything related to projects. We are close to the release.

Hi Juan.

Reopening this project on windows session  at original project resolution is O.K. This happens on regular basis at my system. I use Full HD LCD at work and only native display on laptop at home. Is here any other user with similar workspace configuration to confirm this bug?

I will be happy to try the final  release. May be this release resolve my bug.
