Hi All,

I don't know how to change the brightness of the mask with Pixel math. I tried using the formula in the Star Align documentation.
http://pixinsight.com/doc/tools/StarAlignment/StarAlignment.html#usage_011  It near the end of the doc.
I can get the mask overlap in place by applying the formual to the mask. I then put the mask in place and invert it, but it remains solid at 100%. Do you have an example of how to do it properly?

You probably need to uncheck the "Rescale" option in the PixelMath dialog. If you leave it checked, the result is always rescaled to the range [0,1].
