Along with PixInsight 1.8.0 RC1 Ripley, today we have released a new version of the PixInsight Class Library (PCL): 2.0.0.537. PCL is a C++ development framework to build PixInsight modules.
We have released PCL version 2.0 as an open-source library under
PCL License (PCLL). The distribution package is now available on our
Software Distribution system, and can also be downloaded directly from our website:

http://pixinsight.com/developer/pcl/doc/html/PCL 2.0 requires PixInsight Core 1.8. This version has been completely rewritten from scratch to introduce important changes, new features and advanced implementations that I'll be describing on this forum during the next days (I *really* need some rest now!).
