Is it possible to work with PixInsight via proxy?
I cannot find any program settings which allow this.

Something like VNC http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_Network_Computing may do what you want. It allows to control a remote computer from a local one, including controling PI on the remote computer. If this is not what you want to do: Please explain what it is.

Another option that I use is http://www.radmin.com/?r1=radmin&r2=interface&r3=clt30_menu_radmin  It works very well between my main PC and my Laptop at the outside pier.  Although I mainly use it for my image acquisition with MaximDL, FocusMax and TheSkyX, anytime I double-click on an laptop image, PI starts up (on the laptop)  and , if need be, I can use it to do some initial work while waiting for the next image to download.

I have a laptop computer and connect to the Internet from different places different ways (LAN, WiFi, ADSL).
Sometimes I'm working in a network behind the firewall, so I have no direct Internet connection, but only via proxy server.
Unfortunately, I cannot find, where in PixInsight can I enter proxy server name and port.

Ah, you are talking about PI and the internet connection.
- PI only needs an interconnection for updates
- The demo version also needs an internet connection for the license. The commercial version does not.
If internet connectivity is a problem, just delay updates until you have one, and use the commercial version.
