How can I apply pixelmath to a series of images?
« on: 2012 October 25 19:40:18 »
Hello
I was trying to apply pixel math to a series of image files.
To do this I created a image container and then dropped it onto the pixel math, but at the output files pixel math was not applied.
I also tried to do the inverse: apply pixel math to the image container, but the result was the same.

If I set the pixel math check box to create a new image, then new images are created on the workplace with pixel math applied, but saved images are not.

Any Ideas?

Create an image container, drag the instance (triangle)  icon on the desktop,  open pixelmath, ensure that says "create new Image", apply the pixelmath on the container icon saved on the desktop.

thanks John,
but as I said before, when I do this, I get a lot of new images on my workplace, but images are saved wo pixel math applied.
The images on the worplace are ok, but names are not correlated to original ones, thus this implies a lot of work in identifying (if possible at all) and then rename the images.

Sorry, I may missed what you wrote.
There are two points to check, which both control the output.
Actually if you have the process (pixelmath) producing something usable, then you control the container to apply and output this usable thing to many images to a directory. Take a look on the screenshot, what you have there ?

Intriguing, never tried it like this.
I think that if you change the "Create new image" to "Replace Target image" it will work as expected.
I put a few biases in a folder and in a icon container, and I made a pixelmath to subtract the master bias from them.
With Create new image I'm getting a few new images in the folder same with the original and a few new views in Pix with the results.
If I switch to "Replace new image", I'm getting only a few new images in the folder with the result of the subtraction.
