Batch Preprocessing script crashes
« on: 2012 October 22 23:16:50 »
Hi All,
      I am trying to run the Batch Preprocessing script and it  continuely crashes with the following message :-

Integration of 6 images:
Pixel combination ......... average
Output normalization ...... none
Pixel rejection ........... Winsorized sigma clipping
Rejection normalization ... none
Rejection clippings ....... low=yes high=yes
Rejection parameters ...... sigma_low=4.000 sigma_high=3.000

* Using 1525 concurrent pixel stack(s) = 399.80 MB
Integrating pixel rows:     0 ->  1524:   0%
*** Error: Out of memory
<* failed *>

It is running on a PC with XP and 4GB of memory. I was wondering if i need more physical memory for Pixinsight ?

Any other sugggestions would be welcome.

I have run Pixinsight from a reboot with no other apps running and remove any resident programmes to ensure max free memory but still get same message.

Thanks in Advance

Viv
