I've been explaining to my imaging buddies how much I enjoy using PixInsight. They see how powerful it is and want to use it, but because it is so different from the old Photoshop method, they get put off learning a new piece of software. Maybe its the old dog new trick thing, I dunno.
Because of my big mouth they became interested in using it and they wanted me to give them some simple, basic instructions on getting started with it, so I put a text only, very basic LRGB workflow on my webpage.
It is no substitute for the official documents or the other excellent video tutorials and reference guides out there, its simply a summary of the basic steps that is easy to reference while your are working on an image. Kind of a processing cheat sheet so to speak for
after you get familiar driving the software around.
Its a work in progress and I will be adding to it in the near future. Let me know if you feel anything in there is inaccurate or you have any suggestions. Also, let me know if I worded something in a confusing manner.
Thanks, Vince
