Could not access paper. They dont give concrete numbers like focal length, transimtance at different wavelength, dispersion etc. In the public material . But in principle that should give oportunities for new sensors.

I´ve seen it. Looks like a fresnel-type lens, built with nanotechnology. The catch, I think, is that it has to be tuned to a single frequency (as in laser light used in comm. systems).

Yeah, I was wondering if this technology has this limitation, or in practice the lenses will have a broader bandwidth, allowing the construction of lenses in the optical band without color aberrations. I guess I should read the paper...
