Hello
With latest PI core 64 version (1.7.6) on Mac OSX Lion, when I want to "auto open" PI when I click on a FIT file in the finder (or XPMS file to auto launch with process icons), I got this error message. After OK, PI lauches but not the image.

If PI is already running, then I click on a FIT or XPMS filte on the finder, it can be opened under PI.
Do you have an idea ?

I got this problem on MacbookPro or MacPro...

thanks
Philippe

Same thing on my side. I'm unable to open files from the finder if PI is not running

This is a known bug in the Mac OS X version of PixInsight. It will be fixed in version 1.8.

For now, simply don't open image files by double-clicking them on Finder or the desktop. Dragging them to PI works fine AFAIK. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi,

Before endor fileserver I never had this "problem". I simply start PI when I think about Astro; so no "problem" any more  >:D

Sorry for the inconvenience.

No need to be sorry for this drop in the lake; all the rest of PI works like a dream

Thanks
