I wouldn't blame anyone for having seen enough of this one lately, but here's one more attempt. I tried to really reveal the core using HDRWavelets on the luminance. Quite an interesting "jet" behind it. Image and full details are at

It is interesting to me how the comet gets that big flare-up a few miles behind the main event.  I have seen this in a few other photos. I don't understand why there is the null or dark area between the head and this diffuse tail.  Fascinating study.
