Does update also update the 'about' pop-up?

Running windows 7 ultimate and PI 01.07.00.0702 per the PI 'about' pop-up.

I feel certain I have updated in the last year and got some modules within the last 3 months or so.  I can see HDRMultiscaleTransform for example.

When I do a check for updates now it says there are no updates available.

SO  How do I check to see if I really have 1.7.4 now besides the Resources-About PixInsight pop-up?

I'm pretty sure the email announcing the most recent PI said you need to install that 'by hand' without the updater. You are not running the latest.

Every time the auto updater updates PI itself the about version gets updated too. Naturally when modules or other components get updated the about version does not change.
